Smite Information
Smite level is base on the following.
Pally shield will list smite damage. I suggest using a Zacarum (spelling is bad) shield as the smite is 46 - 46. This will keep your final damage close together. Some of the other pally sheild range 20 - 28, 25 - 82.
Smite itself raises the damge by using a %.
Hold Shield raises the actual smite number
Fanaticism raises the damage by a %
What you want to do is make Holy shield as high as possible as this raises the base number of smite. Raise smite high and use fanaticism to get the final numbers.
As an example, using the above shield..
Raise holy shield to level 270 using 20 in skills and 250 on a charm Do the same with Smite. Then have several 31 level Fanaticism charms.
Put smite on your left hand put holy shield on the right and turn it on. at this point your smite should be in the 40,000 range. put fanaticism on the right and raise it up or lower till you have 80k or find a damage range that you like. The range will depend on what you have on your characater.
I have one pally that smite is at 139,000 and another that is 78,000.
I test on hell boss mod to get an idea of damage. If you are doing no damage to the monsters, ie, their life bar is not going black then lower your damage.
if you are doing a 1/4 inch or more of damge to the bar then raise the damage. Adjust from there. Once I am killing Diablo or meph in 2 blows or less I figure I am in the ball park.
Hope this helps and maybe others wil have better ideas. It has been a while since I did this.
Oh, last thing, when you are adjusting damage with the Fanaticism level by adding or deleting charms level, you need to reclick on fanaticim each time on the right hand to make sure that you are refreshing after each level change. This way you see the actual damage.
Life Refill
i had lordsoth[zoi] hit me with low dr% then when i almost died i pressed "w" and healed fully well maby using negative vitality on items it might make it so u can do it forever......
That life refill trick has nothing to do with dr%. And it can be done as often as u need it,and works with all chars.
Damage Reduce and Leech Block
Hehehe yep it does, you know what ever the dr% you got on armor it wont change a @#$%. Put 1% dr on one charm and even combined to the dr% of other items, this will handicap others's leech, but even so, the best dr% to have on a charm to help leech stoping is 20%. And this works only on charms, put the dr% you need to survive on your armor(not on jewels) and your gona do some hellich chalanging fights on others
